Admission of Councillor Thomas Bennett and Beatrice Bennett as Young Freemen

Dec 14, 2025

Councillor Thomas Bennett, the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and the Mayoress, Beatrice Bennett, were formally admitted as Young Freemen during the Christmas Banquet at Innholders’ Hall.

During his speech, Councillor Thomas Bennett spoke about the reasons why excellence exists across different professional fields, attributing it to civic engagement, like that with livery companies, which promoted the development of the highest standards within industries. He highlighted the efforts of the Guild of Young Freemen in encouraging their members to engage in these traditions and uphold these values, making the Guild an asset not only to the City of London but also to the U.K. as a whole.

Once again, we extend our sincere congratulations to Councillor Thomas Bennett and his wife Beatrice Bennett and welcome them into our fold.
