May 17, 2025

On 9th May, the Worshipful Company of Farriers generously welcomed the Guild of Young Freemen to its Annual Livery Banquet at Mansion House, by kind invitation of the Master, Mr John Chilman. The evening was held in the presence of the Rt Hon The Lord Mayor, Alderman Alastair King DL, the Lady Mayoress Florence King, and the Sheriffs, Gregory Jones KC and David Chalk.

The Guild was represented by Upper Warden Reuben Braden-Bell, Renter Warden Fraser Peck CC, Deputy Clerk Anna Kowalik, and Beadle Benedict Butterworth.

The evening featured the ceremonial signing of the Armed Forces Covenant and celebrated the Farriers’ strong ties to the City of London and the Armed Forces. The Guild is grateful to the Company for its kind invitation and the opportunity to participate in such a distinguished occasion.
