Member Spotlight: Will Lander

Feb 5, 2025

Will Lander joined the Guild of Young Freemen in July 2020. He was clothed as a Liveryman of The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths at a ceremony at Goldsmiths’ Hall on Thursday 30th January 2025.

Will gain my Freedom of the Goldsmiths’ Company through service in 2018, following his five year apprenticeship as a Diamond Mounter, hand making fine jewellery. The Goldsmiths’ Company has played a significant part in his career, supporting his apprenticeship and enabling him to attend The Goldsmiths’ Centre in Farringdon, where he was part of their Apprenticeship programme.

He currently works as a Senior Diamond Mounter at luxury jeweller Jessica McCormack in Mayfair, having previously worked for a historic manufacturing company in Hatton Garden. Before that, he undertook his apprenticeship at a bespoke jeweller in Hertfordshire.
