Lady Mayor’s Show 2025

Nov 15, 2025

This weekend, the Guild of Young Freemen was proud to take part in the the Lady Mayor’s Show  to celebrate and support the installation of Lady Mayor Dame Susan Langley DBE.

Our members had the honour of carrying Gog and Magog, marching alongside the Worshipful Company of Basketmakers, proudly led by their Prime Warden, Mark Cooper. It was a wonderful display of tradition, fellowship, and the enduring spirit of the City and Livery movement.

A huge thank you to all our members who took part and represented the Guild with such enthusiasm and pride.

Above is a short video capturing the energy of the day — along with a few words about the Guild.

Special thanks to our member Robert Midgley for capturing and producing the video and to our photographer Carla Salvatore for her amazing work.
