Ending 2018 with Carols at St. Michael’s Cornhill

Dec 3, 2018

A highlight of the Guild’s year, the carol service at St. Michael’s Cornhill is a key fixture in the diary for many Young Freemen. As our last event of the calendar year it provides a final opportunity to wish friends well before the holidays.

The Guild is proud to support St. Michael’s Cornhill each year in the running of the carol service; indeed we are blessed that the Priest in Charge at St. Michael’s holds the honorary position of Chaplain to the Guild, and he wears our Court jewel with great pride.

The Master for 2018 – 2019, Rafe Clutton, gave the first reading of the service, and led those Young Freemen present with strong voice in the carols before offering mince pies and mulled wine as we draw the first half of his year in office to a close.
