On Friday 18th October, Lady Mayoress Florence King was formally admitted as a Young Freeman during the Annual Installation Banquet at Saddlers’ Hall, after the Court of Assistants of the Guild unanimously passed a motion to acknowledge the great work Mrs King has done to make the mayoralty more engaging for young members. This occasion marks the first time in our history that a Lady Mayoress is eligible to become a member of the Guild of Young Freemen. We ought to extend this honour to her as a great supporter of the Guild.

Once again, we extend our sincere congratulations to the soon-to-be Lady Mayoress Florence King and look forward to building on the strong foundations that were laid that evening.
