Young Freemen Volunteering at the 19th Fuellers Annual Energy Lecture

Sep 12, 2025

Yesterday, a team of Young Freemen volunteered at the 19th Fuellers Annual Energy Lecture organised by the Worshipful Company of Fuellers at Imperial College London.

The event, inaugurated by the late Lord Ezra MBE, this year presented the lecture, ‘A Roadmap to Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)’, which was delivered by Professor Hervé Morvan, Chief of Future Platforms at Rolls-Royce’s Advanced Concept and Future Proofing. A panel Q&A session, moderated by Professor Nigel Brandon OBE, followed. The panel speakers were Professor Laura Mainini, Air Commodore Craig Watson and Alex Chikhani MBA. The reception was kindly supported by CirculAIRity.

We would like to thank Master Fueller Elena Oderstone for having us and our volunteers for their great work and commitment.

The Guild of Young Freemen is proud to provide volunteers and give our time to Livery Companies in support of their charitable endeavours and other activities to promote education, heritage, and industry across the City of London and beyond.
