Celebrations carried into the evening after the Lady Mayor’s Show, we held one of our “Meet the Livery” events with the Worshipful Company of Basketmakers.
During the evening, members of the Guild of Young Freemen and the Basketmakers celebrated our long-standing friendship. We heard about the work of the Basketmakers and the history of the Company. In particular, we were grateful to hear from Mark Cooper, Prime Warden Basketmaker, who spoke of the close fellowship between the Guild and the Basketmakers and how it gives practical expression to their ethos, “Let us love one another.”
A great evening was had by all!
