Jason was born and grew up in the town of Romford, on the edge of north east London. He was educated locally at Marshalls Park School and Havering Sixth Form, before taking a bachelor’s degree in History at Queen Mary University of London. He obtained his master’s degree the following year.
He is presently undertaking a PhD at the University of Westminster and is also a currently serving Borough Councillor in his home town.
Jason has been involved with the Guild of Young Freemen and a member of the Court since 2015, and is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Basketmakers.
His interests include history, politics, current affairs, cheese and good wine.
