In advance of this year’s Sheep Drive, the Master Woolman Alderman Vincent Keaveny (Lord Mayor 2021-2022) has invited members and friends of the Guild to join him for a virtual talk, introducing himself and telling us a little more about his life and times in the City as well as about the fantastic work undertaken by the Woolmen’s Company.
Ranking 43rd in the order of precedence, and tracing their roots to 1180, they are perhaps one of the oldest Livery Companies in the City of London: with their trade as relevant today as it was almost 850 years ago.
We hope you can join us for this informal yet informative session, as it is sure to be a real treat!
