The Guild of Young Freemen is proud to follow in the strong Livery tradition of supporting education and charity across the City of London, donating almost all its annual profit towards educational activities and the sponsoring of prizes at the City of London Freemen’s School, the City of London School, the City of London School for Girls, and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

Our Armed Services are central to the values of service and charity which form the backbone of our City’s rich heritage, and the Guild always ensures that contributions are made towards its affiliated regimental associations as well as the Royal British Legion.

Every year the Guild undertakes a number of voluntary roles at both Livery and City of London fundraising events, perhaps most prominently during the Worshipful Company of Woolmen’s Annual Charity Sheep Drive at which its members act as the Official Marshals, helping to raise around £30,000. The Guild is always willing to engage with organisations and charities which fundraise in the City of London.
